From Bond Estates
Ultra-premium project producing single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from five distinct Napa Valley sites: Melbury, Quella, St. Eden, Vecina, and Pluribus.
The Bond Estate Napa Valley presents a deep, opaque garnet hue. The nose is immediately expressive, revealing layers of blackcurrant liqueur, crushed violets, and cedar shavings intertwined with hints of graphite and clove. On the palate, this wine showcases a remarkable depth and complexity. Ripe blackberry and dark plum flavors dominate, accented by nuances of mocha and dried herbs. The structure is impeccable, boasting firm yet refined tannins, balanced acidity, and a full body, leading to a long and opulent finish marked by lingering notes of dark chocolate and subtle minerality. The alcohol is well-integrated. This wine displays exceptional aging potential; cellaring for 10-15 years will undoubtedly unlock further layers of complexity and nuance.
